VRC Insurance Systems was founded in 1986, as Virtual Research Corporation. During the first five years of operation VRC provided consulting, design and development/programming expertise to a broad base of prestigious Fortune 1000 clients.

In 1991 VRC commenced the development of an end-to-end Technology and Servicing Solution for Property Casualty Brokerages that was subsequently implemented in 1993 by one of the largest Brokerages in the US. This offering embraced Open Systems Architecture and Relational Database technologies and was named DIAS (Database Insurance Automation System). DIAS was continually updated and enhanced to keep our product on the leading edge of technology and to facilitate client requests.
