VRC Releases Velocity 10

FOR 2008 - VRC has released their latest version of their market leading software product Velocity Version 10.  Version 10 includes new versions of all the major components of the system like Oracle 10 Release 2 and Solaris 10 with the industry leading features including Zones and the revolutionary ZFS file system. Version 10.2 and 10.3 will further make a number of enhancements available to users.  Key 10.2/10.3 enhancements include:

• Recents
• Favorites
• Named Sessions
• Point and Click Navigation
• Streamlined and automated defaults
• Enhanced Rating and Policy Issuance
• New Application and Quote processing
• Enhanced/Additional Web service calls for external access

Velocity Release 10.2 is available now and 10.3 Beta is scheduled for mid to late October 2008

VRC Velocity University Grand Opening

June 6, 2008 - VRC is proud to announce the Grand Opening of VRC Velocity University. The first class session was conducted on June 24th and the response was overwhelming. Within minutes of announcing the Grand Opening the first session was completely booked.

Velocity University is a modular, unit based, curriculum focused upon attainment of advanced knowledge and utilization for Velocity’s users. Course material along with tests have been prepared that guide each participant through all aspects of Velocity. Basic, Advanced, Expert and Master Velocity certification are the accreditation levels users can attain.

VIP Users Group Meeting

October 15, 2008 - VRC Insurance Systems will be conducting their annual VIP Users Group Meeting which will run from October 15th to October 17th. The meeting will be held at the Westlake Village Inn.  During this time, users of Velocity from all over the USA and Canada will meet to discuss the latest enhancements to the software and chart the course for the direction of many of the future enhancements in the year to come.

"The VIP Users Group Meeting gives us the chance to meet with all our customers in a forum that allows us to better understand what is important to our clients and for them to better understand what we too are doing.  This helps us to be more responsive to customer needs and allows for a forum to show many new planned features and get our clients input ” Shelly Giesregen says as she is heading up the planning of the meeting this year.  “Last year’s feedback helped us improve our process for service and communication to customers as our teams respond to their requests through the 'support@vrcis.com' email tracking.”
